VIEW RLS
TWO NEW VERSIONS NOW FEATURE RLS TECHNOLOGY
Beacons with RLS provide confirmation to the user that their beacon’s emergency
distress message has been received and that their location has been detected.
RLS sends a signal back through the satellite network to confirm to the user that
the distress message has been received - indicated by a flashing blue light.
The VIEW model features an integrated digital display which allows you to view live
beacon status & GPS coordinates throughout the rescue process.
All have three levels of integrated signal technology – GPS positioning, a powerful
406MHz signal & 121.5MHz homing capability – to quickly & accurately relay your
position to a worldwide network of search & rescue satellites.
Additionally, the built-in strobe & infrared strobe facilitate night-time, or other low
visibility rescues. They are easily activated in an emergency situation.
Simply deploy the antenna, press the on button, & the beacon will do the rest for
you by guiding rescuers to within 100m or less of your position.

ACR V6 EPRIB WITH RETURN LINK SAVE
The new ACR GlobalFix V6 EPIRB uses 406 MHz
satellite connectivity to transmit emergency signals
via satellite. Return Link Service (RLS) technology
provides visual confirmation to the user that their distress
message has been received. A 121.5 MHz homing signal
helps rescuers find the activated beacon when they are
isible and infrared strobe lights aid in target
on scene. Visible
identification at night or when visibility is limited, speeding
rescue and recovery. A new feature called Near Field
Communication (NFC) lets users monitor their EPIRB’s
functions using a smartphone App • Return Link Service
(RLS)
Return Link Service indicates to the user that an EPIRB’s
rescue transmission has been received. The RLS
signal is sent back through the Galileo satellite network
confirming that the digital mayday including precise
beacon location and identifiers, have been delivered.

ACR V5 EPIRB WITH RETURNLINK & AIS
In addition to the features of
the V6, the V5 features an AIS
transmitter.
This allows you to be seen by any
vessel equipped with an AIS receiver
- a device becoming increasingly
common. One issue with standard
EPIRBS is that you can only be
seen by the emergency services, but
rescue may be close in the form of
passing vessels. The AIS transmitter
in the V5 ensures that more vessels
can see you & come to your aid.
