A simple & ingenious self-contained man overboard
recovery aid. It consists of a horseshoe lifebuoy (147N
buoyancy) & floating light permanently attached to a
properly coiled lifeline on a spool. When the buoy is
thrown, the line pays out quickly without tangling or
fouling. All this is contained in a coated fabric storage
bag, impervious to UV-rays, which is fitted with clips for

it automatically inflates to become a danbuoy
with built-in lifebuoy as well as featuring a lifting
loop with snap hook for recovery.
