bag with a loop to attach it to
the boat. In the event of a man
overboard the person in the
water can pull the grab handle
which opens the bag and lets
the ladder unfold instantly,
helping them get safely back
onboard. Also ideal for solo
sailors.
Olas technology provides a bluetooth link
to a smartphone app. When the link is
broken (by the device going out of range,
i.e. its wearer falling overboard) an alarm
is sounded and the location is stored. The
app then gives constant distance/bearing
to the stored location. Up to 6 devices can
be connected at any one time.

30cm between treads.
The Core is a compact, portable overboard alarm &
emergency light system. It reacts within seconds of
a person falling overboard & can easily be switched
between vessels without the time & cost of wired
installation. It wirelessly tracks up to 15 OLAS
transmitters & when a person wearing a transmitter
falls overboard the in-built 85db alarm is triggered & a
high-power emergency red light gives visual indication,
all within 4 seconds. It also connects with the free
OLAS mobile App providing an easy to read arrow
back to the alert position plus essential MOB last
known position information.
